Bible and Worship
This is what makes us who we are. We are driven to bring students into a closer relationship with Jesus! Each morning begins with individual classroom worship directed by the teachers. On Wednesday all the students meet in the church to worship together and sing praises! Throughout the year we have our week of prayer and other religious focused events.
"I like that we worship God and sing christian Songs; they are awesome! I also like the friends I have here."
Math is an important part of education and we feel that all students need to have a strong foundation. We strive to make math an easy subject and a favored subject of students. Combining technology and real-life examples helps our students understand the importance of mathematics in the real world. In our lower grades hands on math centers help students visualize numbers and problems. We feel that our students graduate knowing what math is really all about.
Reading, writing, phonics, and spelling are very important to a students success. Our teachers are highly qualified to make sure your student learns how to do all of these things. Incorporating technology and projects we are able to make students excited about reading and writing. Our Adventist School System is also ranked as one of the best schools for reading test scores in the nation!
Students get to journey though the past and learn about our nations history! From a state level to a world level we teach our students how we got to where we are now!. Hands on projects help engage the students in learning social studies in a whole new way. Come see why our social studies program is truly one of a kind.
Fine Arts Program
Our school has an incredible fine-arts program! From art projects, to band, to choir we have you covered. Our lower grades can join the Points of Light Choir and upper grades can be members of the 3rd-8th Grade choir. Our school also has band and private music lessons for our students. We also like to have our students express themselves by drawing and working on art projects. We are really proud to be one of the few school that still enforces the fine arts!
"My favorite thing is that we get to draw."
Physical Education and Recess
Our students love spending time outside enjoying God's creation. We have a state of the art playground that was just recently installed for our students to play on. We also have a basketball court, soccer and football field, a baseball diamond, and even a disc golf area. Not only do we have lots of outdoor time for the students we have a state of the art P.E. program at the school as well! The P.E. class teaches students how to play sports and work together as a team.
"What I like is all the friends I have at school and they go to church!"
